The highest quality
Van Nature imposes strict standards on the quality of the products, as set out in the Van Nature Quality Manual. In addition, the various parties in the chain also meet the standards set by internationally recognised quality systems. The four sales organisations meet the strictest (higher level) requirements set by the BRC.
Van Nature has its own quality managers to monitor the quality of the produce. They guide growers and make recommendations about the required product quality. Remember that avoiding quality problems saves extra costs later. So you see that product quality is a joint effort between the grower, the quality managers and the product managers at the sales organisations.
All growers of Van Nature product meet the GlobalGAP requirements (covering aspects such as environmentally friendly crop protection, fertilization, hygiene and accurate registration of all product details). Additionally, all growers are now certified according to the QS system; a system that is benchmarked with GlobalGAP, but throughout the whole chain. This means that the sales organisations are also involved; so they are also QS certified. In addition, the sales organisations are BRC and IFS certified.
